That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse.
What would your verse be?"
Says an unconventional English teacher John Keating to his students in the movie, The Dead Poets Society.
And the words just kept running through my mind today..
I imagined a colossal stage, and every man and every woman playing their parts; they entered when were born, they exited when they died.. They all had roughly the same time to act. And everyone was, given a chance...
Among them, there were many who played their parts well and said their verses right.. many who touched the lives of those whose acts overlapped with their own.
But there were those few.. very few.. who spoke not verses, but songs with deep passion, they sang them from their hearts.. and they did not merely touch the lives of others around them, they inspired them and showed them , in their songs, reasons to love and live..
Their songs lived on in the hearts of many, long after they had bowed out..
That the powerful play goes on.. and I may contribute a song?..
